Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Sticker Fun – DIY Stickers (the “app”) handles information when you browse sticker packs, save favorites, create stickers where supported, or export stickers to WhatsApp. The developer responsible for the app can be contacted at [email protected].

1. Photos and sticker creation

When you choose a photo through your device’s image picker, the app accesses the selected image to provide the requested sticker feature. Automatic subject cutout, where supported, is performed on your device. The app does not upload your selected photos to our content server or to a remote AI service, and it does not access your entire photo library for background scanning.

Generated sticker images and associated tray images may be saved in the app’s local storage. Feature availability may differ by platform and operating-system version.

2. Preferences, favorites, and local files

The app stores theme and language preferences, onboarding status, favorite pack identifiers, and paths to created sticker files on your device. Downloaded images and exported sticker files may also be cached or stored locally to display content and prepare exports. These preferences are not synchronized to an app account or sent to us as an analytics profile.

3. Sticker downloads and technical information

The app connects to content hosting services to retrieve the sticker catalog, pack previews, and sticker files. Its current default content endpoint is sanborn.fun. These requests necessarily disclose your IP address to the receiving server. The hosting infrastructure may process standard request information, such as request time, requested resource, response status, and technical request headers, to deliver content, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service.

We do not use this information in the app for advertising profiling. Hosting logs, if retained, are handled according to the hosting provider’s operational and security retention practices. Contact us for information about applicable server-log retention or a deletion request.

4. WhatsApp exports and sharing

When you request an export, the app makes the selected sticker images, tray image, pack title, publisher information, and pack identifier available to WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business through the platform’s export mechanism. On Android, a sticker content provider supplies pack data for the export; on iOS, the app uses the platform’s WhatsApp interoperability mechanism.

The app does not read your WhatsApp messages, conversations, or contacts. Once stickers are exported, WhatsApp handles the data under its own Privacy Policy. Removing data from this app does not automatically remove copies already exported or shared.

5. Device permissions

Photo access or an image-picker selection is used only when you choose an image for a supported feature. You can decline access or change access in your device settings. Network connectivity is used to obtain remote sticker content. The app does not request access to your precise location, microphone, or contacts for its sticker features.

6. Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include, such as your message, attachments, and relevant device details. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot issues, and handle privacy requests. Avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

7. How information is used and disclosed

Information is used to provide requested app features, remember your choices, deliver sticker content, respond to support requests, and maintain service security. We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by content-hosting and email providers when necessary to deliver those services, or disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect rights and service security.

The current app has no purchase or payment processing, advertising tracking, or third-party analytics integration. The app does not collect payment-card information.

8. Retention and deletion

• Local app data: Preferences, favorites, created stickers, and cached files remain until removed through available app controls, Android’s app-storage settings, or removal of the app and its data. Device backups may retain copies according to your operating system and backup settings.
• Exported stickers: Delete copies in WhatsApp or any other destination separately. We cannot remove copies held by recipients.
• Support messages: We retain correspondence as needed to resolve your request and meet legitimate operational or legal needs. You may request deletion by emailing us.
• Technical hosting records: Any server logs are subject to the hosting provider’s retention practices. We can review requests concerning records within our control, subject to applicable legal and security requirements.

The app does not offer account registration, so there is no app account to delete.

9. Your choices and privacy requests

You may restrict photo access, remove locally stored content, clear app data, and choose whether to export stickers. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, or to raise a privacy concern, email [email protected]. Depending on your location, applicable law may provide additional rights. We may request only the information necessary to verify and respond to your request.

10. Security

We use platform storage protections and HTTPS for the current default content endpoint. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep your device protected and avoid making stickers from images you do not want to share.

11. Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through account registration or profiling. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s selection of photos and sharing of stickers. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete that information where appropriate.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when app features or data practices change. The updated policy will show a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate app or policy notice.
